We are honoured to have partnered with Indigenous Design Labs this year to bring our Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) into creation. Designed by a team of aspiring First Nations designers, aged 13 – 19, diligently working away under the mentorship of the teams from ingeous studios and Red Ochre Republic; Leigh Harris, Tarquin Singleton and Sheree Jacobs (pictured left to right).

Within the design, a motorhome is set in the background; a visual blend representing responsible tourism and leaving no trace. The journey lines and smaller campervans are integrated into the design, showcasing the roads winding around the country as travellers explore Australia. The illuminated colours and patterns draw on the rich diversity of the Australian landscape as well as First Nations cultures and their connection to Country.

The lagoons are designed to illustrate the reconciliation elements thl (Apollo) has committed to, bringing our guests along on the journey. Flowing through the design is the waterway that represents healing, as water is the blessing of life. The design is tied together with the thl (Apollo) Acknowledgement of Country icon and reflect that all roads lead to this RAP commitment.
