Here’s our top tips to help you feel festive while on the road – from decorations and music to food and presents, we’ve got your festive essentials sorted. 1. Grab your Christmas decorations! Just because you’ll be on the road doesn’t mean you need to leave the Christmas decorations at home in a box in the garage. Why not deck out your Apollo campervan or motorhome in Christmas decorations? It will be a fun activity for the whole family, and you’ll feel so festive! Be sure to tag us on social media so we can see your festively decorated Christmas themed home on wheels. 2. Create a Christmas music playlist What’s Christmas without a great Christmas music playlist? Create a playlist, grab a portable speaker (and its charger!) and get ready to sing all of your favourite Christmas tunes. Top tip: To be extra prepared, we suggest you download your playlist onto your phone so you can get festive regardless of whether you have great mobile phone reception or not! Also, don’t forget to be mindful of your campground neighbours and keep Christmas carolling to a minimum after lights out. 3. Don’t forget treats for Santa and his reindeer Everyone knows that Santa needs some snacks while doing his rounds and this applies to when he visits you while you’re on holiday too. So, don’t forget to pack some cookies to leave out for Santa and some carrots for his reindeer! 4. Christmas camping feast Your Apollo campervan or motorhome will come equipped with all the kitchen essentials you’ll need to cook up a storm, including a gas cooker and fridge, but why not make life easier for yourself and pre-prepare some elements of your Christmas feast before hitting the road? Wash and chop up veggies, and cut up fruit ready to eat – you could even pre-portion out ingredients for a Christmas camp fire damper! To keep things simple, you can also pick up food along the way – we’re thinking locally picked fruit and veg, fresh caught fish and prawns and locally made delicious treats like cheese, baked goods, and chocolate. 5. Don’t forget to pack the presents! If you’re the gift giving type, don’t forget to pack your gifts before you hit the road, so you’re all set for Christmas morning and there’s no disappointment! Top tip: Be sure to take some rubbish bags or boxes to sort and collect the rubbish and recycling items in to, ready to dispose of later. 6.
